Meet the Trustees—Anna Jannes

Anna JannesAnna Jannes and her family moved to Henrietta from southwest Colorado 7 years ago.  She and her husband have two school-age daughters and they are all avid readers.  They made Henrietta Public Library visits one of their first priorities when they arrived in here.   “Libraries are an asset to the community” says Anna and  the “library is important to me because it is a great (and free) resource to the individual and for families for entertainment, learning and socialization. Libraries are a treasure trove for people of all ages and should not be taken for granted.”

Anna was a long-time Red Cross Instructor with a background as a Respiratory Therapist. Presently, as well as caring for her family, she is busy taking classes at MCC.  In her limited free time she teaches beadwork jewelry classes at several Monroe County Libraries – including the Henrietta Public Library.  Anna is the newest member of our Board of Trustees.
