Meet the Trustees—Melanie Phillips

Melanie Phillips

Melanie Phillips is a life-long resident of Henrietta and a 1995 graduate of Rush Henrietta Senior High School.  She is the part-time operations administrator for the Center for Community Engagement at St. John Fisher College, whose primary mission is to advance good governance through Rochester-area nonprofit boards.  She holds a BA in American Indian Studies from Colgate University and a MA in Museum Studies from Syracuse University.  Melanie and her husband Omar (also a life-long Henrietta resident and graduate of RH Senior High), have two young children.  Their son attends school at Fyle Elementary and their daughter is focusing on excelling at the Terrible Twos.  When faced with a rare moment of leisure, Melanie enjoys scrapbooking and listening to podcasts.
