Gardens Galore!

Quiet in the GardenMay is the perfect time to look around and notice all of the things that are growing and blooming.  Here are some books in HPL’s collection about gardens . . .  they “may”  inspire you to do some planting of your own!

Quiet in the Garden  by  Aliki
A young boy observes all of the activity around him, as he sits quietly in a colorful garden. For ages 3 – 7

Wiggle and Waggle  by Caroline Arnold
Five short chapters about two earthworms who are best friends,  and their adventures in the garden.
