NEWS FROM THE ‘NON-BOOK’
LIBRARIAN
Our Henrietta Public Library patrons will be pleased to know that the library has started purchasing “Blu-ray” DVDs! The collection so far only consists of twenty discs but we will be adding more as the year goes on. Unfortunately, “Blu-ray” continues to be more expensive than the standard DVDs, so funds are limited.
Here are the titles which will be available:
- 2012
- Avatar
- Unknown
- The Help
- X-Men: the Last Stand
The Fighter- X2: X-Men United
- Lincoln Lawyer
- Percy Jackson & the Olympians: the Lightning Thief
- Harry Potter – All 8 titles in the series
- Water for Elephants
- Cowboys and Aliens
- Fantastic Four
We will shelve these eventually at the end of the regular DVDs; for now most will be on the “New Audio-Visual” which is on the other side of the music compact discs.
If you have any specific requests for “Blu-ray” titles, please let me know and I will look into buying it for the library’s collection. As always, be sure to come into the Henrietta Public Library and ‘check us out’!
