Museum Passes

NEW!!  Henrietta Public Library to circulate Museum passes beginning Wednesday, July 20.

Henrietta Public Library has partnered with FOUR fantastic museums in the Rochester area to offer special admissions.

  • The Memorial Art Gallery (Only $5.00 per family, up to 5, with the pass)
  • The George Eastman House ($6.00 admission, up to 5, with the pass)
  • The Rochester Museum and Science Center (and Planetarium) (Buy one admission, get one free)
  • Genesee Country Village and Museum (Buy one admission, get one free)

These passes will entitle the bearer to deep discounts on museum entrance.  All vary in number of persons included and amount of discounts.  In all cases, however, any ticketed exhibitions or special events require that a separate ticket be purchased.

How to go about borrowing the museum passes:

  • You must have a library card from the Monroe County Library System.  All fines must be cleared before a pass may be borrowed.
  • A circulation lasts from Thursday to Tuesday.  No matter the day of borrowing, the passes will ALWAYS be due back on Tuesday.
  • We will take a call from noontime on Wednesday for a request and put the pass aside for you.  It must be picked up by 5PM Thursday or it will go to someone else.
  • There is no system hold allowed and Henrietta residents will have priority over others.
  • Replacement for a lost pass is $50.00.  Overdue fines for any late passes are $5.00 per day.
  • Only one pass may be checked out to a family at the time.

Come visit the library and inquire about or borrow one of these special passes for a summertime that’s full of fun and knowledge.  We will have the passes until the end of June 2012, so if you can’t participate right away you can always plan on a later time.
