Rome wasn't built in a day, but make a quick stop at Barnes and Noble and you can pick up the LEGO 'Leaning Tower of Pisa' and build that in a day. There's a cathartic release in building with LEGOs, whether you're following the instructions that came with a set or just free-building with numerous scraps you've accumulated over the years. They're a perfect tool for those who fidget, or just a quick way to focus your thoughts onto something else!
A word of warning, though. Always wear proper foot protection when walking near LEGO-infested areas, for stepping on them has been compared to the pain of forcing yourself to finish a terrible book. Henrietta Public Library offers a LEGO Club program once a month for children ages 7-12.
