United States-Federal Taxes

The Henrietta Public Library can help you get through this tax season.  While we are not tax accountants, HPL offers do-it-yourself tax books for checkout, as well as federal and state tax forms and booklets.  We also have reproducible tax forms available for copying, for both federal and state dating back from 2002.  Internet access makes it possible to download tax forms, too.

The Internal Revenue Service has an office in downtown Rochester, located at 255 East Avenue. It is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and closed on federal holidays.  There, you can pick up current federal tax forms and booklets and receive help with your federal taxes on a walk-in basis.  Call 585-263-5840 for more information.

Visit the IRS online to find what you need to file your federal taxes.
