Reserve a Room

Book a room for your next meeting, workshop, class, or study session in one of our accessible, flexible rooms.

Our Board of Trustees and staff are excited to offer a number of specially-designed rooms that accommodate a variety of learning needs and styles to our library community. We have three study rooms available for up to three people to use at a time, two conference rooms where groups of up to ten can work together, as well as the Community Room where up to 100 people can gather. Please read our Policy for Reservation and Use of the Community Spaces.

Community Room

Our Community Room holds large-scale workshops, classes, meetings and events that give community members opportunities to connect, discover, learn, and grow. Events educate participants through lecture, performance, conversation, play, and hands on work. This room holds many library-sponsored events and we welcome applicants from community groups of up to 100 people to hold meetings and events in this space. The Community Room includes:

  • Seating for up to 100 people

  • Flexible arrangement

  • Digital display

  • Podium

  • Sound system

  • Hearing assistance loop

Conference Rooms

Our two conference rooms accommodate meetings and group work for groups of up to ten people. This gives our community the opportunity to have conversations and solve problems together in a neutral space. Our conference rooms are named after female authors: the "Diana Gabaldon Room" and the "Agatha Christie Room."

Conference Rooms include:

  • Seating for up to 10 people

  • Moveable tables and chairs

 

 

 


Study Rooms

Our three study rooms are for students of all types, be they in formal programs or self-directed. Students working alone or small groups of up to three people will find a space in which to focus and learn. Our study rooms are named after female authors: the "Shirley Jackson Room," the "Maya Angelou Room," and the "Emily Dickinson Room."

Study Rooms include:

  • Seating for up to 3 people

  • Moveable table and chairs

 

 


Craft Room

Our Craft Room is where we get messy. This is a flexible space designed for creativity, play, and hands-on-learning and creation. This room holds many library-sponsored events and we welcome applications from both formal and informal community groups of up to twelve people who would like to explore their creativity in this space.

Craft Room includes:

  • Seating for up to 12 people

  • Sturdy butcher block tables

  • Digital Display

  • Laminate floor

  • Sink
