Public Computers

Henrietta Public Library has public desktop computers located in the Children's Room (first floor) and on the second floor. Public laptops are available for use inside the library.

Logging On: Library patrons log onto the public computers using their library card number and last name. Guests may use the public computers with a temporary "guest pass;" please request one from a service desk in the library.

All computers are equipped with:

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher)

  • Firefox (Internet browser)

  • Google Chrome (Internet browser)

  • USB ports

  • Headphone jacks (headphones can be borrowed)

Time Allowed: Library patrons and guests have access to public computers 2 hours each day. We will grant additional time on computers when availability allows. Computers will automatically shut down at 8:50pm Mondays through Thursdays, and 4:50pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

All computer users must agree to abide by Henrietta Public Library's Computer and Internet Use Policy.

Free, Public Wi-Fi

Henrietta Public Library has free, public Wi-Fi available for use inside the library building. The Wi-Fi network is called "Henrietta Library Guest WiFi;" there is no password.

Printing, Copying, Scanning, and Faxing

Self-service printing, copying, and scanning can be completed by using a public desktop computer on the second floor of the library. Self-service scanned documents can only be saved using a flash drive. If you need a document scanned and sent to your email, please see a staff member for assistance.

 

If you need to print from a mobile device or laptop, please email the documents/images to hplinfo@libraryweb.org. Documents/images can be picked up and paid for at the service desk on the second floor of the library.

Faxing can only be completed by a library staff member on the first floor of the library. Please visit the service desk on the first floor of the library for assistance.

Printing & Copying in Black & White: $0.20 per page

Printing & Copying in Color: $0.50 per page

Faxing: $1 per page (max of $10)

Digital Scanning: Free

We accept U.S. cash/change and Apple Pay, Google Pay, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express.
